What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Similar technology called local storage lets a site remember simple settings on your device. We keep both to a minimum.
Strictly necessary
- chw_sid — keeps you signed in after you sign in. Set by our server, http-only (page scripts can't read it), deleted when you close your browser or sign out.
- chw_age — remembers that you confirmed you are 18 or over, so the age check doesn't appear on every page. Kept for 30 days.
These can't be switched off because the Site doesn't work properly without them.
Preferences (local storage)
- chw_age — the same age confirmation, kept in local storage on your device.
- chw_cookies — remembers your choice on the cookie banner.
These stay on your device and aren't sent to us.
Third parties
- Our games load inside a frame from our own domain and may store small settings (such as sound on/off) on your device.
- Google sign-in, only if you choose to use it, may set Google's own cookies. See Google's privacy policy.
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
Managing cookies
You can change your choice at any time with the button (also in the footer). You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings — but if you block strictly necessary cookies, you won't be able to stay signed in.
